Hyrkanos is the vicious mercenary behind many of the events that are in the support quests as part of The Athenian Leader. Defeating him is like defeating any other mercenary--a challenge to find, and a challenge to take down. Track him through the Mercenaries menu.

Hyrkanos has the Shell Skin ability, which means he takes less damage from arrows and ranged attacks, and the Pyrophophobia weakness, meaning he takes more damage from fire. For more tips on defeating mercenaries, head on over to our Mercenaries page.

Hrykanos is most likely located at the Militarized Temple of Megara in Megara, Megaris. This is a relatively small space to fight him in, but it is elevated. Dodge his red attacks, and try to use any fire abilities, such as Flaming Attacks in the Warrior tree, against him. But a good spartan kick off the edge should do the trick too.

Once Hyrkanos is dead, loot his body for some resources, drachmae, and the rare weapon Hyrkanos’s Dagger. Head back to Dolios. He’s in the same spot as he was for Portion Control. After a short conversation about how “grateful” he is, the mission will be complete.
